Ajali hiyo imemtokea akiwa safarini toka Arusha kwenda Rombo na ni eneo la Bomang'ombe mjini.

Watu watatu akiwemo mamake mzazi wamekufa papo hapo.

Mhe. Selasini amepekimbizwa Hospitali ya wilaya ya Hai pale Bomang'ombe; hali yake si nzuri.

WANAFUNZI WA UDSM WAUZA MIILI KUKIDHI HAJA ZAO

KAMATI ya Bunge ya masuala ya Ukimwi imeelezwa kwamba ukosefu wa mikopo na uhaba wa mabweni ,unasababisha baadhi ya wanafunzi wa kike wa Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam (UDSM) wauze miili yao na hivyo kuwa katika hatari ya kuambukizwa Ukimwi.

Hatua hiyo imekuja baada ya kamati hiyo iliyokuwa ikiongozwa na Makamu Mwenyekiti, Rosweeter Kasikila kukutana na Uongozi wa Vyuo Vikuu vya Dar es Salaam na Mzumbe ili kujionea hali ya Ukimwi katika vyuo hivyo.

Waziri wa Afya na Chakula wa Serikali ya wanafunzi wa UDSM, Cosmas Nzowa aliiambia kamati hiyo jana jijini Dar es Salaam kwamba , wanafunzi wengi wanaonekana kwenye sehemu za starehe wakijiuza kwa sababu wameshindwa kuendesha maisha yao.

“Wamefika chuoni wakitokea mikoani wakakuta hakuna mikopo wala mabweni ya kulala na hawana ndugu hapa jijini, unategemea wafanye nini, sasa wengi wanajiuza ili kujikimu, ukitembelea sehemu nyingi za starehe utawakuta,” alisema Nzowa.

Alisema , mchana wanakwenda chuoni lakini usiku wanakuwa na shughuli nyingine za kujiongezea mapato.
Aliongeza kuwa hata wanafunzi wanaume wanapokosa mikopo na mabweni ya kulala vyuoni huwa katika wakati mgumu na kulazimika kuishi na wanawake waliowazidi umri huko mitaani.

“ Sasa huku hatufahamu kama wanafunzi hawa watakuwa salama katika maambukizi ya virusi vya Ukimwi kwani ni jambo la kawaida kukuta kijana mdogo wa chuo kikuu akiishi na shugamami mtaani,” alisema Nzowa.

Alisema ili kurekebisha hali hiyo utaratibu wa utoaji wa mikopo hauna budi kubadilishwa ili wanafunzi kabla hawajafika chuoni wawe wanafahamu kama watapata mikopo au la.
Aliongeza kuwa ,serikali iweke kipaumbele kwa kuongeza idadi ya mabweni inayolingana na wanachuo 15,000 waliopo hivi sasa.

“ Ili kuwasaidia wenzetu ambao wamekosa maeneo ya kuishi na hawana fedha, inabidi tuishi watu wanne kwenye vyumba vidogo na hivyo kusoma katika mazingira magumu,” alisema Nzowa anayesomea Shahada ya kwanza ya Sayansi ya Jamii na Kiswahili.

Aliwaambia wabunge hao kwamba, wanafunzi hao wako katika hatari ya kupata maambukizo ya virusi vya ukimwi kutokana na mazingira magumu wanayoishi.

“Tunaiomba kamati hii itutembelee chuoni ili isikilize kilio cha wanafunzi hao,”alisema.
Mratibu wa Ukimwi katika Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam, Dk Kitila Mkumbo aliieleza kamati hiyo kwamba, maambukizo katika chuo hicho baada ya kupima mwaka 2011 ni asilimia 2.3.

Makamu Mwenyekiti wa kamati, Kasikila alitaka uongozi wa chuo hicho kuwasilisha mbele ya kamati hiyo taarifa yenye kueleza matatizo mbalimbali yanayokwamisha mapambano dhidi ya Ukimwi chuoni hapo.
“Tukipata taarifa yenye changamoto mbalimbali itawasaidia wabunge kutetea Bungeni hasa katika suala zima za upatikanaji wa fedha za shughuli za Ukimwi,” alisema Kisikila.

Akichangia, Mjumbe wa Kamati hiyo na Mbunge wa Mtambile, Masoud Abdalla Salim alisema mavazi wanayovaa wanafunzi wa UDSM yanahamasisha ngono.

“ Wanafunzi wa kike katika chuo hiki hawatofautishi mavazi ya disko na ya darasani, wanatembea nusu uchi hebu jifunzeni kwa wenzenu wa Chuo cha Biashara (CBE) wamedhibiti hilo,” alisema.Naye Mbunge wa Busega, Dk Titus Kamani alisema matatizo ya kifedha ya wanafunzi wa vyuo vikuu yanaweza kuwa kuwa kichocheo cha maambukizi ya Ukimwi.

MWENYEKITI wa Yanga, Wakili Lloyd Baharagu Nchunga ametangaza kujiuzulu wadhifa wake jioni hii ofisini kwake, jengo la NSSF, barabara ya Bibi Biti, Dar es Salaam, siku moja baada ya kuvamiwa na kundi la watu nyumbani kwake, Mbezi, Jijini usiku wa wa manane.
Hata hivyo, Nchunga amekataa kulihusisha tukio la kuvamiwa kwake usiku wa jana na kujiuzulu kwake, akisema kwamba amefikia uamuzi huo kuinusuru Yanga, kwa sababu wapo watu wako tayari Yanga ife, lakini wamng'oe yeye madarakani, kitu ambacho yeye hapendi kitokee.
Nchunga alisema kwamba majira ya saa nane usiku wa jana, alivamiwa na kundi la watu takribani 15, lakini hawakufanikiwa kufanya chochote kutokana na ulinzi mkali uliopo katika nnyumba hiyo.

Ndugu wana Habari, najua kwamba taarifa hii itawafedhehesha wajumbe na wanayanga wanaotuunga mkono,hasa ukizingatia maamuzi ya pamoja ya vikao vyetu vya kamati ya utendaji vilivyopita kwamba hakuna wa kujiuzulu kati yetu mpaka tujue hatma ya mkutano mkuu ambao tulipanga ufanyike tarehe 15 Julai 2012, ukiachia mbali shinikizo la kujiuzulu linalotolewa na baadhi ya wazee na wanaojiita vijana wa klab, kwa wajumbe wa kamati ya utendaji, na hasa mimi kama mwenyekiti.

Nawashukuru wajumbe kwamba tulifanya kazi kwa pamoja na kwa ushirikiano mzuri, na hata pale tulipotofautiana tulifanya hivyo kwa hoja na kufikia maazimio ambayo wote tulikuwa tunawajibika nayo.

Tangu tumeingia madarakani tumeweza kushirikiana na kupata mataji matatu katika kipindi cha mwaka mmoja, yaani; Ngao ya Hisani 2010, Ubingwa wa ligi kuu ya Vodacom 2010/2011, na Ubingwa wa Afrika Mashariki na Kati (Kagame Cup), 2011. Zaidi ni kwamba tuliuwa uteja kwa watani wetu wa jadi kila tulipokutana katika ligi ukiachia mbali mechi ya tarehe 6 Mei 2012, ambayo tulifungwa goli 5 bila, na kuleta mtafaruku mkubwa katika klab yetu.

Hali kadhalika tumeshirikiana mpaka tumeweza kuboresha mkataba kati yetu na TBL kupitia Kilimanjaro Premium Lager, tumeingia mkataba na kampuni ya NEDCO kuendeleza mali zetu katika mtaa wa mafia na uwanja wetu wa KAUNDA baada ya kufikia hatua nzuri katika kupata hati miliki za maeneo yote mawili. Nafahamu kwamba kampuni hiyo iko katika hatua za mwisho za kumalizia michoro.

Hali kadhalika tuliingia mkataba wa kuzalisha na kuuza bidhaa zenye nembo yetu na hasa baada ya kufanya marekebisho yatokanayo na matakwa ya sheria kule BRELA na pia mkataba na kampuni ya NEXUS LTD, ambayo itakuwa inatutafutia wadhamini wa nje na ndani, kufanya promosheni zetu na kampeni kwa njia ya electronic kupitia mitandao mbalimbali na kukusanya data za wanachama na kusajili wapya tukiwa na malengo ya kukusanya shilingi 300,000,000/= hadi 800,000,000/= kwa mwaka katika kipindi cha miaka mitatu. Haya yote tuliyafanya tukilenga kujitegemea kujazia mapengo yaliyokuwa yakitokana na kutegemea ufadhili wa mtu mmoja mmoja.

Kwa ridhaa yenu tumekua tukiendelea na mazungumzo na makampuni mbali mbali kwa ajili ya udhamini na kwa sababu maalum, nitazitaja katika hati ya makabidhiano kwa kiongozi ajaye.

Aidha, tumeshirikiana katika kufanya mambo mbali mbali ya kijamii, ikiwa ni pamoja na sikukuu ya kuadhimisha miaka 77 ya Yanga, sikukuu za pasaka, kuchangia jamii na waliokumbwa na maafa, na kongamano la vijana lililolenga kuwaamsha vijana kuitambua nafasi yao katika Yanga ikiwa ni pamoja na kupata azimio la kuanzisha SACCOSS ya Yanga, ambapo maombi yapo kwa msajili Manispaa ya Ilala.

Haya yote nayataja ikiwa ni kuwashukuru kwa ushirikiano na ikiwezekana muweze kuyakamilisha yaliyobaki ambayo mtaona yalikuwa mazuri.

Lakini pia tulipopata matatizo tulikuwa pamoja. Nichelee kusema tu kwamba tulisimama pamoja baada ya kujiuzulu Makamu Mwenyekiti wetu Ndugu Davis Mosha na mjumbe wetu ndugu Seif A. Seif, Ali Mayayi, na wengineo, kwani tulifungwa na katiba.Tulisimama pamoja pia katika suala la kujiuzulu ndugu Yusuf M. Manji, aliyekuwa mdhamini mteule na mfadhili mkuu ambaye sasa ameonyesha nia ya kurudi nanyi mkaridhia mkutane naye. Awali, tulitumia kila jitihada za kumrejesha lakini ikashindikana.

Hata hivyo doa limetupata baada ya kufungwa na watani wetu goli 5 bila, ambapo kuna wanachama wanaoelewa na wasioelewa kabisa.

Ninachokiona mimi ni usaliti wa hali ya juu uliombatana na matukio mbalimbali yaliyopita na yanayoendelea hadi kujaribu kupindua uongozi wa halali wa kidemokrasia. SIWATUHUMU WACHEZAJI MOJA KWA MOJA, isipokuwa mfululizo wa matukio wiki tatu kabla ya mchezo ule na sasa, inaonyesha kwamba kulikuwa na usaliti mkubwa ambao sisi hatukuweza kuubaini mapema.

Sioni mantiki katika hoja kwamba wachezaji walikuwa wakidai mishahara, posho n.k. Au ati mtendaji wetu alishikiliwa Arusha kwa deni la hoteli, ndiyo tuvune bao 5!

Kwa wanaoijua Yanga, imewahi kuwa na madeni makubwa katika Hoteli mbali mbali, mawakala wa ndege n.k, na baadhi tumeyakuta na sisi tumekuja tukayalipa. Hii imewahi kutokea kabla na wakati akiwepo mfadhili, sembuse sisi tulioachwa baki, na bado wachezaji walicheza kwa morali.

Hata hivyo, utamaduni wa kutimuana baada ya matokeo mabaya ni dhambi ambayo itatula kama hatutaiacha, kwani wenye hila na uchu wa madaraka wataendelea kutumia mbinu hiyo ili kuuondoa uongozi wa kidemokrasia.

Baada ya mapinduzi kushindikana na TFF kuonya kuhusu mapinduzi hayo, wazee kupitia msemaji wao , Mzee Akilimali wamesikika katika kipindi cha Michezo cha Redio moja maarufu hapa nchini wakidai kwamba ni bora Yanga ishushwe daraja au kufungiwa kuliko mimi kuendelea kuongoza!

Hii imenikumbusha HEKMA ZA MFALME SELEMANI akiamulia ugomvi wa wanawake wawili waliokuwa wakigombea mtoto naye akaamuru wamgawane nusu kwa nusu. Yule mwenye mtoto kweli alimuomba Mfalme amuachie mwenzie kuliko kumkata nusu.

Kwa hekma hiyo nimeamua kujiuzulu nafasi yangu katika Uenyekiti wa Yanga kwani ni klab ninayoipenda hata kama sio kiongozi kwa mujibu wa ibara ya 28 ya katiba yetu.

Vile vile siko tayari kuona klab yangu ikisalitiwa au kuhujumiwa eti kwa sababu tu mimi ni kiongozi.

Natumaini kamati ya utendaji kwa pamoja na wale tuliowateua chini ya ibara ya 29(3) ya katiba ya Yanga pamoja na bodi ya wadhamini, itawaongoza wanachama mpaka kufikia mkutano mkuu kwa mafanikio zaidi.

Nitaendelea kuwa mwanachama mwadilifu na nitatoa mchango wangu wa hali na mali pale nitakapo hitajika na nikiwa na uwezo wa kufanya hivyo.

Roy Horn Accused of Sexually Assaulting Male Employees; Video Being Shopped

A graphic video of Roy Horn of Siegfried and Roy fame sexually assaulting male caretakers is being shopped around, according to new reports.The video is disturbing, according to TMZ, which broke the story.
Roy, who was mauled by a tiger in 2003 but survived, has been going through rehab to strengthen his left side. But his right side is strong.
Strong enough to engage, allegedly, in the following behavior:

• As a caretaker helps Roy to the bathroom, Horn shoves his hand into the man's crack in a rather aggressive manner.
• Roy thrusting his rear end into the male caretaker's crotch.
• In two clips, Roy grabs the genitals of two male caretakers.
• Roy goes under the shirt of one caretaker and appears to tweak his nipples, at which point he appears to writhe in pain.
• It appears that Roy becomes frustrated with one of the caretakers and in turn violently whips him with an oxygen tube.
• Roy manhandles and forcibly kisses him on the mouth.

The three male caretakers in the video are all straight and have families. They have sued Roy in Nevada court for the alleged sexual assaults.
The caretakers also say they went to the cops recently to file a crime report but were told the one-year criminal statute of limitations

(It's negative).

This is really a non-story - Clowney is healthy and happy - but it's a great example of how Twitter has changed the relationship between sports stars and fans.

Lane Garrison Pleads Not Guilty to Domestic Violence

Troubled actor Lane Garrison was back in a Beverly Hills courtroom yesterday, where he pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence charges.On April 22, just days before his parole from a vehicular manslaughter conviction was set to end, Lane was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
He is accused of attacking his former girlfriend Ashley Mattingly. He was charged with battery for the incident and has been behind bars ever since.

Wednesday, his bail request was granted and set at $50,000; his next court hearing will be July 11. Look for him to lay low until then ... hopefully.
Lane maintains he was just trying to grab his phone from his ex during an argument, but surveillance video of Lane slapping Ashley begs to differ.
In February, Beverly Hills cops investigated an incident at Mattingly's apartment after she called 911 on him, but no arrests were made at that time.
In 2007, he was sentenced to 40 months in jail after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter for his role in a DUI crash that killed a 17-year-old boy.

Kody Brown of Sister Wives fame says that even four wives can't fulfill all his needs. Just imagine how regular people with one spouse feel, right?!??!

In the TLC family's all-new book, Becoming Sister Wives, Kody admits that neither Meri, Janelle, Robyn nor Christine totally fulfill all of his cravings.

Skyfall Trailer: James Bond Returns For Explosive 23rd Movie

The first trailer for James Bond's 23rd movie has just been released, with Daniel Craig looking badass as ever as the legendary secret Agent 007.

Skyfall, due in U.S. theaters November 9, also stars Javier Bardem and French actress Berenice Marlohe as the newest Bond Girl, named Severine.
In the 90-second clip below, which is technically a teaser for the full-length theatrical trailer to come, Bond is seen in explosive, international glory:

In Skyfall, Bond's loyalty to M (Dame Judi Dench, in what may be her final role in a James Bond film) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.
"As MI6 comes under attack," says an official release for the film, "Bond must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."
The production and release of Skyfall had been placed on hold when its studio, MGM, encountered financing problems, but is now a go for November.

Justin Bieber Performs "Boyfriend" at Billboard Music Awards

 

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards were in full swing Sunday night, with Justin Bieber among the music mega-stars hand to perform in Las Vegas.
Biebs became the first name on the list of Billboard Music Award winners, taking home Top Social Artist honors and addressing his many fans.

Did President Obama Lie About Being Born in Kenya?

A year after he put "birther" rumors to rest by releasing his birth certificate, President Obama's background is back in the news again ... with a twist.

An old bio of Obama from his former literary agent says he was born in Kenya, renewing debate over the authenticity of his own account(s) of his past.

You could essentially call this "reverse birtherism."

In 2011, Obama proved born in the U.S., but did he lie in the past about being Kenyan-born to craft a more exotic, interesting-sounding background?

According to a booklet produced by Acton & Dystel, to showcase its roster of writers, Obama was "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."

Obama's former literary agency says they merely misidentified his birthplace as Kenya while trying to promote the then-Harvard Law grad in 1991.
Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.
"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me - an agency assistant at the time," Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News.
"There was never any information given to us by Obama suggesting he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii ... [it was] a simple mistake and nothing more."
Breitbart.com, the site founded by the late Andrew Breitbart, broke this story as part of "The Vetting," its ongoing series about Obama's past.
Breitbart died in March, shockingly at age 43, but beforehand, he set out to do what he felt mainstream media would not during the 2008 election.
Essentially, that being to ask tough questions about Obama's background, rather than accepting the Presidential candidate's two memoirs as gospel.
Breitbart.com published a lengthy disclaimer with the brochure and this story, saying it does not believe Obama was actually born outside of the U.S.:
"Andrew Breitbart was never a 'Birther,' and Breitbart News is a site that has never advocated the narrative of 'Birtherism,'" the site clarified.
"In fact, Andrew believed, as we do, that President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961. Yet Andrew also believed that the complicit mainstream media had refused to examine President Obama's ideological past, or the carefully crafted persona he and his advisers had constructed for him."

"It is for that reason that we launched The Vetting, an ongoing series in which we explore the ideological background of President Obama (and other candidates) - not to re-litigate 2008, but because ideas and actions have consequences."
"It is also in that spirit that we discovered, and now present, the booklet described below - one that includes a marketing pitch for a forthcoming book by a then-young, otherwise unknown former president of the Harvard Law Review."
"It is evidence - not of the President's foreign origin, but that Barack Obama's public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times."

While this publication will no doubt fuel "birthers" who refuse to believe Obama was born in the U.S., but the point is actually entirely separate.
Is it really possible that the full bio below would never have been proofread by Obama in the 16 years it was used (it was corrected in 2007)?
Make of it what you want, but if that's an error, as the publisher claims, it's a pretty bad one, and raises some rather legitimate questions.
We cannot know whether the publisher and/or Obama himself were aware of the error, but the idea that one or both allowed the "mistake" to slide to make his biography more compelling is not entirely far-fetched.
The broader questions:

• Has Obama's biography, which also included a "composite" of past girlfriends (one of which was Genevieve Cook) shifted to meet his needs over time?
• If so, what are the implications of that on his ability to be President? Does it make him different from any other politician? Does that matter?

Jeremiah Wright: Obama Pastor May Be Subject of New Attack Ads

President Barack Obama's ties to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his controversial former pastor, may be the subject of a new ad campaign by a conservative political action committee intent on ousting him in this November's election.A conservative super PAC is considering an advertising plan to "do what John McCain would not let us do" during the 2008 presidential campaign.
Obama's ties to Jeremiah Wright and his inflammatory rhetoric nearly derailed his bid for the presidency during the Democratic primary, but Obama cut ties with his one-time spiritual adviser, hung on against Hillary Clinton, then defeated McCain.

McCain, honorably, demanded the Wright-Obama angle not be used in any campaign ads during the election. This time around? All bets are off.
With campaign finance reform all but eliminated by the Supreme Court, super PACs can spend whatever they want to run whatever they want.
To that end, Chicago Cubs owner Joe Ricketts commissioned a $10 million plan, known as "The Defeat of Barack Hussein Obama: The Ricketts Plan to End His Spending for Good," to help ensure the President's defeat.
According to a copy of the plan obtained by the New York Times, the group is looking to expose ties between President Obama - who is referred to as a "metrosexual, black Abe Lincoln" - and Rev. Wright's "black liberation theology."
The 54-page proposal says, according to the Times:
"The world is about to see Jeremiah Wright and understand his influence on Barack Obama for the first time in a big, attention-arresting way."
The proposed assault includes television commercials and full-page newspaper ads featuring Wright, along with "aerial banners" in the sky.
Ricketts' plan also includes "preparations for how to respond to the charges of race-baiting," according to the paper and goes as far as to suggest the hiring of an "extremely literate conservative African-American" spokesman.

It also refers to an apparent ad featuring Jeremiah Wright that was produced for McCain's 2008 campaign but never aired. "If the nation had seen that ad," Ricketts writes, "they'd never have elected Barack Obama."
On Thursday, presumptive Republican challenger Mitt Romney's campaign urged the super PAC to avoid pursuing a racially charged campaign.
While criticizing the Obama camp's reported rhetoric, of course.
"Unlike the Obama campaign, Gov. Romney is running a campaign based on jobs and the economy, and we encourage everyone else to do the same," Matt Rhoades, Mitt Romney's campaign manager, said in a statement to Yahoo News.
"President Obama's team said they would 'kill Romney,' and, just last week, David Axelrod referred to individuals opposing the president as 'contract killers.'"
"It's clear President Obama's team is running a campaign of character assassination. We repudiate those efforts and any on our side to do so."
